THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS TO DO DURING YOUR STAY WITH US AT RASPBERRY KISS AND BLISS AND OUR NEW HOUSE, CORAL MIST.  YOU CAN PLAY IN THE SAND ON THE BEACH.  YOU CAN SUNTAN  OR SWIM BACK IN OUR PRIVATE  POOLS.  YOU CAN REST AND RELAX IN OUR LUXURIOUS SURROUNDINGS OR READ A BOOK ON ONE OF OUR BALCONIES.  BUT, IF YOU WANT TO GET OUT AND PLAY SOME GOLF, VISIT NATURE AND HAVE A FABULOUS DINING EXPERIENCE, THEN CHECK OUT THE ATTRACTIONS AND OTHER AREAS OF INTEREST WHICH WE FEEL WILL ENHANCE YOUR VACATION EXPERIENCE.

Myrtle Beach Area:

While it’s true that the Myrtle Beach area offers its visitors one of the most beautiful stretches of sand in the world (RECENTLY VOTED AS ONE OF THE TOP TEN BEACHES IN THE WORLD), let’s face it: lots of places have pretty beaches.  What exactly is it that makes the Myrtle Beach area so special?  Is it the  volume of activities and attractions providing fun for all ages?  The more than 1,800 restaurants?  Maybe it’s the world-class shopping and entertainment.  The truth is, it’s all this and more… no wonder the Myrtle Beach area is referred to as “America’s Beach Playground.”

Myrtle Beach Attractions:

The beach is certainly tops on almost everyone’s list of attractions, but as any family will tell you, it’s always nice to have options.  From waterparks and racetracks to aquariums and Broadway-style shows, you’ll never run out of things to do.  Did you know that the world’s largest collection of American sculpture is just minutes away?  That the country music supergroup Alabama got their start in the area and now plays host to one of the area’s many state-of-the-art theaters?

Myrtle Beach Water Sports:

There’s a lot more to the beach than just swimming and shell-hunting, and the Myrtle Beach area has it all.  Jet-skis, parasail's, sailboats, banana boats, surf fishing, pier fishing, deep-sea fishing, dolphin watching, kayak touring…   With two piers, two marinas and a number of watersports operations, the Garden City area is far and away the best location in the area to experience all the wind and surf have to offer.

Myrtle Beach Live Entertainment:

For 25 years the Carolina Opry has created a revolution that has made the Myrtle Beach area one of the country's biggest stars in the live entertainment business. Not only is the Opry going strong, but it's been joined by some of the biggest names in show business, from the Alabama Theater, Dolly Parton's Stampede to the Pirates Voyage to the House of Blues and many more. No matter what your tastes, the Myrtle Beach area has something for you.  Below, please find a list of some of the activities available during your stay:

Cool, comfortable and sturdy, the remarkable cotton hammock designed by riverboat Captain Joshua John Ward still soothes and delights all who discover it. Always handwoven, our hammocks have long been the embodiment of Lowcountry craftsmanship.

The idea for the hammock came from native South Carolinian Joshua John Ward, a riverboat captain who ferried rice and supplies between the vast rice plantations and nearby Georgetown and Waverly Mills. Cap'n Josh found the lumpy, grass-filled mattresses on his boat too hot for the sultry coastal summers, so he set about designing a soft, cool bed that would serve his purpose. The result was a hammock so strong and comfortable that its handmade design has endured for more than a century unchanged and unchallenged. That is the hammock we sell today as the Original Pawleys Island Rope Hammock.
